What is the Star Sign of Aristotle?

aristotle zodiac

Aristotle was born on 24 August 384 BCE in Stagira, Thrace (present day Greece). His zodiac sign is Virgo, a perfectionist sign that loves to challenge itself to be better and constantly improve on their skills. Virgos are known to be great communicators, detailed-oriented and excellent problem-solvers. This perfectly aligns with Aristotle’s personality and accomplishments, making him one of the most well-known figures in history.

Aristotle was born into a fairly wealthy family and developed an interest in philosophy when he was quite young. Upon being selected as Plato’s student, he moved to Athens to attend Plato’s Academy and first began developing his own unique system of thinking that would eventually become his own school of thought. It was there that he developed an interest in traditional moral values, politics and science, furthering the existing study of these topics.

During his time at Plato’s Academy and during his travels, Aristotle became heavily inspired by the various philosophical and scientific works of the time, such as Homeric hymns and the works of Parmenides and Empedocles, to name a few. It was through these inspirations that he developed various theories of logic and reasoning, ethics, rhetoric, and natural science. His writings influenced many later scholars, most notably the medieval school of thought School of Athens. His major achievements include his concept of an unmoved mover, the Four Causes and his contribution to the concept of a cosmopolitan city. His works have since had a profound impact on Western thought and culture, continuing to be studied and referenced even to this day.
