What is the Star Sign of James Earl Ray?

James Earl Ray was born on March 10th, 1928, in Alton, Illinois, making him a Pisces. Pisces are known to be compassionate, empathetic, and highly sensitive people with a deep connection to the world and its emotions. James Earl Ray was raised in a tumultuous home with a violent and addicted father, giving him an emotionally unstable upbringing. His parents divorced in 1942, and he was sent to a reform school shortly after.

As a Pisces, it’s very possible that Ray’s emotionally unstable upbringing never truly left him. He became increasingly more disillusioned and frustrated with society, possibly as a result of his childhood circumstances, and he felt discrimination more than most. He found inspiration in certain groups, such as the Ku Klux Klan, and it seems like his deep emotional connection to the world created a desire for revenge against the powers that be. This type of behavior was something that he had witnessed throughout his childhood, and it’s highly likely that it stayed with him.

Ray began a series of criminal activities across the United States, including burglary, larceny, and forgery. He found himself in and out of prison for these activities, and his actions showed another distinct trait of Pisces – a tendency to be guided by feelings, rather than logic. In 1968, he assassinated civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr., an act that took the world by storm and shocked almost all who knew of him.

As a Pisces, Ray’s actions can be seen as an emotional reaction to the world he felt wronged by. He had a sense of injustice, possibly brought on by his Authority Insecurity Complex – fear of authority figures, a trait shared by those of his zodiac sign. Even so, he channeled his feeling into a different kind of reaction – a viciously calculated assassination.

The assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. served as an emotional release for Ray, and also as a way for him to show his sense of righteous indignation towards the way he felt he had been treated by society. His Piscean-driven sense of emotion was the primary factor in his active desire to make a statement, even though his actions were horribly misguided.

While Ray couldn’t be considered a saint by any means, his backstory and the circumstances surrounding his actions point to one of the key traits of a Pisces – an emotionally-driven understanding of the world and a deep connection to it. His childhood experiences and his sense of injustice were likely the driving factors in his decision to commit crime, and eventually to brutally murder an American hero. His choices can be seen as a reflection of the deep emotional connection he had to his environment, and of how he processed it through the lens of his zodiac sign.
