He was an advocate for African American rights and often used his public platform to speak out against social injustices.

Ali will always be remembered for his inspiring life story and legacy of perseverance and compassion. He passed away in 2016 after a 32-year battle with Parkinson’s disease, and he remains an example of strength, courage and conviction.
